It’s easy to get lost in the details of health and wellness. How many grams of protein should I eat with each meal? Is stevia better than sugar? How long should I be working out? How many sets will help me build muscle? Should I try fasting? 

It’s a lot to keep up with, and it can be confusing, time consuming, and frustrating. But if keeping up with your health and wellness feels like a chore and causes stress, you are at high risk for giving up on your health goals. 

So let’s take a step back for a moment and simplify. Wellness doesn’t have to be complicated. Below is a list of the basics for healthy living. Putting just one of these practices into action will put you in a great position. Start with one, and once you’re comfortable, take on a second. 

Basics for Healthy Living: 

  • Avoid processed food 

  • Don’t drink your calories 

  • Aim for 7 hours of sleep

  • Be positive

  • Just move

  • Stretch 

  • Drink water 

Integrating wellness into your lifestyle takes commitment and determination. Don’t overload yourself or put too much pressure on the details. Master the basics of healthy living and you will feel the difference, I promise!
