Wellness On The Go

Whether you’re soaking up the sun on a beach or chained to your desk in an office, when your trainer asks what you did for exercise while traveling don’t feel the need to lie! Exercise and healthy decisions come in many shapes and sizes. Enjoy these tips and tricks for staying on track with your health and wellness goals while on the go.

  1. Explore – do some research on a must hit coffee spot or restaurant and see if you can get out and walk there! Take advantage of a new city, new routine, and new views!

  2. Find a co-worker or friend – can you say partner workout? Check out the hotel gym, drop in on a group fitness class, or hit the pavement on a run! The accountability factor that a partner can lend can give you that small push to stay on track.

  3. Plan ahead – speak with your trainer on movements that you can do with minimal to no equipment. They will be more than willing to help you continue the journey they have helped you build so far!

  4. Stick to your 80/20 – just because you may be out of your normal day-to-day routine and most likely may not have a kitchen to meal prep in don’t trick yourself into thinking that you can’t eat healthy. Enjoy the delicacies of your city, your New York pizza or Philly cheesesteaks – but don’t forget about your greens!
