Step It Up for Summer

Summer becomes a time where we like to change up our workouts, get outside, and sweat! We can venture away from our 30 minutes on a cardio machine or our typical group classes and enjoy Mother Nature! See if your local gym or community has any opportunities to join a Run Club, I know your LifeStart does! One of my favorite ways to switch it up is to get a nice stadium or stairs workout in! Run through this cardio and strength circuit for your next 30 minutes instead of that monotonous jog on the treadmill inside.

The Workout:

1. Stairs @ Up/Down

A. 10 Body Weight Squats

B. 10 Push Ups

C. 10 Glute Bridges

D. 10 Reverse Lunges (each)

E. 10 Dips

F. 20 Shoulder Taps, 20 Crunches

Proceed along with your workout with adding in a set of stairs in between each strength exercise!

For example, complete (1)(A), (1)(B), (1)(C), etc. and continue until you reach F. Repeat for a total of 3 rounds.
