Cardio Intervals for your Heart

In keeping with the theme of Heart Healthy Month, an interval focused cardio workout is a great way to keep cardio interesting and make cardio something anyone can look forward to!  With this month’s workout keep a good pace at each station for the whole 40 seconds (it doesn’t have to be a sprint) and then take 20-40 seconds before starting the next station!

Below is a full body, cardio-focused routine that can be done at home or at your LifeStart location!

6 Rounds 40 seconds on/20-40 seconds off (depending on current level of fitness)

  1. Jumping Jacks

  2. Burpees

  3. Mountain Climbers

  4. KB Swing

  5. Squat Jumps
