Limit Stress through Yoga and Mindfulness

We can all agree that life tends to get busier and more stressful as we enter the fall season. September is National Yoga Month and incorporating this practice into your lifestyle can help combat the additional stress. Yoga has many health benefits, but one of the largest benefit is stress relief.  Here are some tips on how to incorporate yoga into your routine this month:

  • Schedule all LifeStart yoga classes into your calendar as a meeting. This allows you to block of time for your health and leave feeling refreshed and ready to tackle your workday.
  • Download a yoga app! There are many apps you can download that allow you to do yoga from the comfort of your home or in the gym on your own time.
  • If yoga isn’t your thing, add a 10 minute stretch into your daily routine or practice mindfulness in a different way, such as meditation.
