Summer Lifestyle Tips

 Now that warmer weather is finally here it’s time to start thinking about healthy habits that can be enjoyed in the heat! Here are some healthy, summer tips:  

  • Instead of roasting vegetables in the oven, throw them on the grill! Zucchini, potatoes, corn, brussel sprouts, and asparagus are just a few vegetables that are great for grilling. You can also try grilling fruit like peaches, pineapple and avocado!
  • Set your alarm 30 minutes earlier than usual now that the sun rises earlier. Take this extra time for yourself to relax, stretch and enjoy the morning.
  • Try this outdoor workout a couple times per week or go for an evening family walk.

    • Push Ups
    • High Knees
    • Step Ups
    • Tricep Dips
    • Burpees
    • Plank
