Pecan Crusted Salmon




  • 20 ozs Salmon Fillet (Divide into 4 - 5 oz. fillets)
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1/2 Garlic Cloves (Finely minced)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tbsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil


  1. Pour pecans into a food processor and chop until fine.

  2. Add garlic, salt, and cayenne pepper to food processor and continue processing until well mixed in. Pour mixture onto a plate.

  3. Using a brush (or similar utensil), fully coat the salmon fillets with olive oil. Roll each fillet in the pecan mixture.

  4. Heat a large non-stick fry pan and lightly saute the salmon on one side until browned. Turn and saute until salmon is cooked to your liking. Estimate about 5-6 minutes per side.

  5. Remove salmon from pan and enjoy with your favorite veggie dish!
