J | Jams and Jellies

Jam and Jelly comes in so many flavors, textures, and brand varieties. You can make your own or look for a product with the least additives. To make your own jelly you just need some of your favorite fruit and pectin - a gelling agent! Mash the fruit in a saucepan on the stove and add pectin so it firms up and is spreadable!

The internet is full of jelly recipes, so I won’t leave you one here. Instead, I will share a super tasty, adult way to eat your childhood favorite - Peanut Butter and Jelly!

PB and J Overnight Oats

  • ½ c rolled oats
  • ½ c skim milk (milk and oats should be at the same line on the jar)
  • 2 T Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 T Peanut butter
  • 1 T Jelly

Add all ingredients to a jar, shake, and put in the fridge overnight. Grab the oats on your way out the door to work the next day!
